"On a darkened stage, hooded figures formed a half circle, blue LED drum sticks held aloft, their faces came to life, but instead of those of human, the audience were looking at those of wolves. As each ‘wolf’ began to beat the large drum stationed in front of them in perfect synchrony the audience almost took a step back; this was a set opener of international quality."
"Written By Wolves are becoming a regular on the festival circuit having both appeared at Bay Dreams and Storm The Gates to rave reviews and it shows as each and every performance grows in strength"
- Sarah Kidd, Ambient Light
“Weaving myself to the front of the stage the giant pounding drums and grooves that greeted me gave way to poppiest syncopated dance beat that caught me off guard til I was bouncing up and down with the rest of the crowd, syncing myself in unison with front man Michael Murphy - this was not your average rock show, this was something… fresh.
And I was loving it.
Big riffs, powerhouse vocals, epic grooves and a well honed, mainstream vibe, and a live show to bring nearly any house down - Written By Wolves are definitely a band to watch out for."
- Mark Derricutt, Libel Music
Let the wolves come out to play…
